Tango Zine (Bay Area Argentine Tango Association magazine) issue 0
This is the first issue of the Bay Area Argentine Tango Association magazine -- wow that is quite a month full -- we'll call it Tango-Zine for now.
Our mission is to grow tango as a social dance in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. At this time (2008) tango has grown so popular that there are tango events every day of the week in San Francisco and more events are popping up each week. So to continue to grow tango, the Association is starting to publish this magazine which we can use to promote tango outside of the community of people who have found tango by chance.
The online version of the Tango-Zine is where we are collecting the articles, maps, listings and other material that will be printed! Yes folks, printed and distributed.
